Angewandte Chemie Publishes ECUST Latest Research Progress in Structure-activity of Vibration-induced Luminescence

Recently, the research team of Academician Tian He from the Joint Research Center of Feringa Nobel Prize Scientists of the School of Chemistry and Molecular Engineering of our university successfully captured the gradual evolution process of hindered dihydrophenazine molecular conformation by crystallization locking conformation, which provided direct structural evidence for further understanding the dynamic behavior of VIE molecules. The research article was published in Angewandte Chemie with the title of “Capturing the Progressive Conformational Evolutions of Sterically-Congested Dihydrophenazinesvia Crystallization”.

This research article was completed by Doctoral candidate Chen Ziyu under the guidance of Academician Tian He and Professor Zhang Zhiyun, and received strong support from Professor Su Jianhua and Professor Qu Dahui. This research is financially supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Shanghai Science and Technology Major Project, and the Academic Innovation and Intelligence Introduction Program of Colleges and Universities.
