Angew. Chem. Int. Ed. Publishes ECUST New Progress of Enzyme-activated Near-infrared Photosensitizer
Recently, the research team of Professor Xie Hexin has made important progress in the research of photosensitizers for tumor treatment, having developed a new design strategy of enzyme-activated enriched near-infrared photosensitizers, which realized the targeted activation and efficient enrichment of photosensitizers in tumor cells. The research article was published online in Angew. Chem. Int. Ed.(Angew. Chem. Int. Ed.,DOI:10.1002/anie.202317773)with the title “Enzyme-Activatable Near-Infrared Photosensitizerwith High Enrichment in Tumor Cells Based on a Multi-effect Design”.
The research article was first authored by Postdoctoral fellow Li Yuyao, and corresponding authored by Professor Xie Hexin. The research work has been funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Postdoctoral Science Foundation of China, the optogenetics Technology Frontier Research Base of Cell Metabolism, and the Basic Scientific Research Operating Expenses Fund of Central universities.
