PNAS Publishes ECUST Latest Research Progress in Environmental Chemistry

Recently, the research team of Professor Xing Mingyang from the School of Chemistry and Molecular Engineering, ECUST, published an article in the proceedings of the National Academy of the Sciences of the United States of America (PNAS), an authoritative international academic journal. The research article is entitled “Single-atom mo–co catalyst with low biotoxicity for sustainable degradation of high-ionization-potential organic pollutants”.

This article is co-first authored by doctoral candidate Chen Zhuan from School of Chemistry, and An Faliang, an associate professor in the School of Bioengineering, and is corresponding authored by Professor Xing Mingyang from the School of Chemistry, with East China University of Science and Technology as the only academic affiliation. The research work has received guidance from Professor Zhang Jinlong, an academician of the European Academy of Sciences and has been financially supported by Feringa Nobel Prize Scientists Joint Research Center, Frontier Science Center of Ministry of Education of Materials Biology and Dynamic Chemistry, National Natural Science Foundation and other projects.
