Biosensors and Bioelectronics Publishes online ECUST Research Progress in Genetically Encoded Fluorescent RNA Probes

Recently, the research team of Professor Yang Yi from the School of Pharmacy, the State Key Laboratory of Bioreactor Engineering, optogenetics and the Interdisciplinary Research Center of Synthetic Biology, ECUST, has made important progress in the research of genetically encoded fluorescent RNA probes and published a research article entitled “Imaging intracellular metabolite and protein changes in live mammalian cells with bright fluorescent RNA-based genetically encodedsensors” in the international academic journal Biosensors and Bioelectronics.

The article is first authored by Dr. Fang Mengyue, Dr. Li Huiwen and Dr. Xin Xie, and corresponding authored by Professor Yang Yi and Professor Chen Xianjun. The research has been financially supported by the National Key R&D Plan, the National Natural Science Foundation, the optogenetics Technology Frontier Research Base of Cell Metabolism, and the National Key Laboratory of Bioreactor Engineering.
