Research Publishes ECUST Latest Achievement in the Treatment of Bacterial Pneumonia and Liver Abscess
Recently, the research group of Professor Liu Runhui from the School of Materials Science, East China University of Science and Technology and the research group of Zhou Min from Zhejiang University have made a new achievement in the study of host defense peptide mimics in the treatment of drug-resistant bacterial infections. The article was published in Research with the title of “Host defense peptide mimicking β-peptide polymer acting as a dual-modal antibacterial agent by interfering quorum sensing and killing individual bacteria simultaneity”.
The article is first co-authored by doctoral candidate Li Wanlin, from Zhejiang University, and Xiao Ximian, a doctoral candidate from East China University of Science and Technology, and co-authored by Researcher Zhou Min and Professor Liu Runhui. The research work was financially supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China.
