ECUST Made Latest Research Progress on Multi-agent System Reinforcement Learning

Recently, the School of Information Science and Engineering published the latest achievement on multi-agent reinforcement learning with the title of “Rethinking Individual Global Max in Cooperative Multi-agent Reinforcement Learning” at NeurIPS 2022, the top international conference on artificial intelligence.

This paper is first authored by Hong Yitian, a doctoral candidate majoring in computer science and technology in School of Information Science and Engineering. Academician of European Academy of Sciences, Professor Jin Yaochu of IEEE Fellow and Professor Tang Yang of Automation Department are the corresponding authors of this paper. At the same time, the research work was carefully guided by Professor Qian Feng, academician of China Academy of Engineering. The results of this paper have been supported by the National Key R&D Program, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the National High-level Talents Program, Shanghai Outstanding Academic Leaders and other programs, as well as the Key Laboratory of the Ministry of Education, the Joint Laboratory of International Cooperation of the Ministry of Education, and the Shanghai Frontier Scientific Research Base of Industrial Intelligence and Intelligent Systems. The previous achievement won the first prize of Shanghai Natural Science Award in 2019.
