J.chem.edu. Publishes ECUST Undergraduate Teaching Practice of Multifunctional Self-healing Materials
Recently, the team of Associate Professor Luo Qianfu from the School of Chemistry and Molecular Engineering, ECUST optimized the design of this kind of self-healing functional material in combination with the characteristics of undergraduate teaching, simplified the synthesis method of materials and integrated the testing methods. With the help of virtual simulation experimental platform, the teaching content of this kind of self-healing functional material from the frontier of scientific research was introduced from many dimensions, and it was successfully applied to the innovative practice of undergraduate teaching, so that students could learn and explore this kind of frontier materials efficiently and safely in a short time, and realize it better. The related article was published in the Journal of Chemical Education which is affiliated to the American Chemical Society.
The scientific research involved in this paper is the intelligent disulfide material based on dynamic chemistry developed by Academician Tian He and Professor Qu Dahui from the Feringa Nobel Prize Joint Research Center of ECUST. The teaching project has received careful guidance and support from Academician Tian He, Professor Zhu Weihong and Professor Qu Dahui, and it is the second achievement of the First-Class Undergraduate Teaching Program led by the combination of scientific research and education in the Feringa Nobel Prize Scientists Joint Research Center of ECUST.
