German Applied Chemistry Publishes ECUST New Strategy of Targeting Degradation of Protein in Membrane-bound Organelles
Recently, the research group of Academician Qian Xuhong and Associate Professor Yang Yun of the School of Pharmacy has made important progress in the research of protein targeted degradation strategy. The related research article was published in the famous journal angew.chem.int.ed. with the title of “An Endoplasmic Retinium (er)-Targeting DNA Nanodevice for Autophage-Dependent Degradation of Proteins in Membrane-Bound Organelles”, and was selected as a VIP (Very Important Paper).
The article is first authored by Liu Caixia, a 2018 doctoral candidate in the School of Pharmacy. The research work has received careful guidance from the Academician Qian Xuhong, Professor Xu Yufang and Professor Zhu Weiping, and it has received financial support from the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Shanghai Science and Technology Major Project and other funds.
