Angew. Chem. Int. Ed. Publishes ECUST Latest Achievement on Surface Synthesis Chemistry
Recently, the research group of Professor Liu Peinian from the School of Chemistry and Molecular Engineering, ECUST, has made new progress in the research of surface synthesis reaction. The research article was published in Angew. Chem. Int. Ed. with the title of “On-Surface Synthesis of Radialenes via [1+1+1]Cycloaddition”.
The research was financially supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the National Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars. Cooperated with the team of Researcher Qiu Xiaohui/Associate Research Fellow Liu Mengxi of National Nanocenter and the team of Professor Shi Xingqiang of Hebei University, the team of Professor Liu Peinian/Associate Professor Li Dengyuan developed the [1+1+1] cycloaddition reaction with high selectivity to generate three-membered carbocyclic rings in one step, which took the lead in realizing the directional transformation of isonitrile precursor molecules to azatrienes.
