Journal of American Chemical Society Publishes ECUST Latest Progress of Unconventional Advanced Oxidation of Potassium Intercalated Oxyferric Chloride

Recently, Specacially Appointed Researcher Yang Xuejing of ECUST made a breakthrough in the research of unconventional advanced oxidation of potassium intercalated oxyferric chloride. The related research article was published in Journal of American Chemical Society with the title of “Interlayer Structure Manipulation of Iron Oxychloride by Potassium CationIntercalation to Steer H2O2 Activation Pathway”, and was given focus as a supplementary cover article.

The article is first-authored by Doctoral Candidate Wang Jinling of the National Engineering Research Center for Harmless and Resourceful Industrial Wastewater, the State Joint Key Laboratory of Chemical Engineering, and the School of Chemical Engineering, ECUST, and corresponding-authored by Yang Xuejing of the School of Mechanical and Dynamical Engineering. The research work also received guidance and suggestion from Professor Liu Honglai of the School of Chemical Engineering,  Professor Wang Hualin of the School of Resources and Environment, Professor Guo Mian of Wuhan University and Dr. Benjamin Synder of the University of California at Berkeley. The research work has been financially supported by the Revolutionary Special Project of State Key R&D Plan, the General Projects and Major Projects of National Natural Science Foundation of China, and the Engineering Technology Research Center of Shanghai Science and Technology Commission.
