Nature-Communications Publishes ECUST Breakthrough Achievements in Anti-implantation Foreign- Body Response
Recently, the research team of Professor Liu Runhui from School of Materials Science and Engineering, ECUST, based on bionic design, reported a new generation of polymer material-poly DL- serine, which is simple in structure, with high water solubility and easy synthesis and can be mass prepared. The research article was published in the international authoritative academic journal Nature-Communications under the title of “Bio-inspired poly-DL- serine materials resist the foreign-body response”.
The article is first-authored by Dr. Zhang Donghui, and corresponding- authored by Professor Liu Runhui. The research was financially supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Ministry of Science and Technology.
