German Applied Chemistry Publishes ECUST Latest Research Progress on Surface Synthetic Chemistry
Recently, Professor Liu Peinian from the School of Chemistry and Molecular Engineering, ECUST took the lead in realizing the post-functionalization of supramolecular polymers based on porphyrin precursors by using the surface Heck coupling reaction and divergent cross-coupling reaction developed in the early stage, and found that chiral assembly of supramolecular polymers on metal substrates can induce enantioselective divergent cross-coupling reaction. The related research article was published in Angew. Chem. Int. Ed. as a Hot Paper.
The research work was completed by Associate Professor Li Dengyuan and doctoral student Zhu Yacheng under the guidance of Professor Liu Peinian. The research was financially supported by the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, Frontier Science Center of the Ministry of Education of Materials Biology and Dynamic Chemistry, and Shanghai Major Projects.
